Meet the Board
Please meet your Sharon Elementary PTO Board Members for the 2025-2026 school year.

President
Britni Sehgal
My name is Britni Sehgal, and I am the PTO President this year. After volunteering for one year and serving as the VP of Volunteers last year, I am so excited to be able to continue to help the school in any way I can. I deeply appreciate all of the hard work the Sharon teachers and staff demonstrate each day - this community is truly the best!
My husband, Varun, and I have two kids. Our oldest is in second grade, and our youngest is two years old. We moved to the area three years ago from Chicago, and though quite different from the city, we have loved every moment! We love to travel and are almost always outside. Our oldest has started competitive sports, so now we’re always on the go! You'll likely find us at a field, court, or park, no matter the day or the weather!
We are looking forward to another great year at Sharon and are excited to meet others in the community!

Treasurer
Zandral Shepherd
Greetings, my name is Zandral Shepherd, and I am very excited and happy to serve as your Sharon PTO Treasurer this year.
I am a native of Arkansas and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas, in Little Rock, and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri. I have taken an extended break from corporate life after working for AT&T for 18 years as a Network Analyst. Being able to be there for our children in every way possible and volunteer at the school has been very gratifying, and I enjoy every minute of it. My most rewarding and fulfilling “job” is being a lacrosse and soccer mom; it brings me such joy!
My husband Tony and I have two children, Logan, who is a Sharon alum and is now in 7th grade and Lukas, who is a 3rd grader. We are a military family whose mission is to serve and always be there when we are needed. We enjoy being with our family and friends.
Traveling is our favorite pastime, and we are always looking forward to checking one more country off our bucket list.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and all the wonderful things that this year will bring.

Secretary
Blake Banks
My name is Blake Banks, and I am so excited to be the Secretary for the Sharon PTO this year. My husband and I both grew up in Georgia, and love raising our family here. Our daughter, Birdie, is in 3rd grade this year, and our other daughter, Bennett, is in 1st grade. We have loved our time at Sharon, and feel so lucky to be part of this community.
Our family loves to travel to the beach and the lake, and I enjoy reading, cooking, and tennis!
We are looking forward to another great year at Sharon Elementary!

Parliamentarian
Shauna Brown
Hello, my name is Shauna Brown, and I am absolutely thrilled and honored to serve as the Parliamentarian of our school's PTO. As a parent, I understand how important it is to create a nurturing and engaging environment for our children, and I’m eager to contribute to that goal. Working with such an incredible team of parents and teachers who share this passion is a dream come true. I’m excited to bring fresh ideas, organize memorable events, and strengthen the bond within our school community. Seeing the positive impact on our students’ lives brings me such joy.
My husband and I have 2 kids, and we’ve lived in the area for nearly our entire lives. As a family, we love to travel and spend time outdoors, while hanging with our dogs!

VP of Corporate Sponsorships
Katy Becker
My name is Katy Becker. I am married to my handsome husband Justin; my son Hank and daughter Quinn both go to Sharon Elementary. Besides our kids, we have a golden retriever named Pickles, a cat named Timmy, and two new hermit crabs named Bob and Crabby Patty. We are so glad to be a part of the Sharon Elementary Family. The outstanding faculty and staff help our children feel so comfortable and safe going to school. The kids have made so many friends, and we have met so many nice families; it makes it easy to be involved with Sharon.
We are not native Georgians. I was born in Mississippi and lived in Arkansas for many years, which is where I graduated from the University of Arkansas. I have a background in sales/marketing, real estate, medical sales, and even Pilates. I am currently a realtor at Dukes Street Realty and teach exercise classes at Old Atlanta Rec Center.
I love to paint, throw parties, go to the beach and the mountains (so fun to live close to both), find great restaurants, travel when we can, and exercise. I also love anything that involves my kids, and my goal is to raise two compassionate human beings in the process.

VP of Teacher Appreciation
Marissa Ambery
Hi! I'm Marissa Ambery, and I’m excited to serve as the VP of Teacher Appreciation this year. Before shifting my focus to motherhood, I worked as a paralegal and a film stylist—careers that sharpened my organizational skills and creative flair. I still dabble in film projects I’m passionate about, but these days, most of my energy goes into supporting my kids and our amazing community.
You’ll often find me at Sharon Elementary as a substitute teacher or volunteering wherever I’m needed.
My husband Jon and I are the proud parents of a first grader at Sharon and a sixth grader at South Forsyth Middle. In our free time, we love to hang out with our two rescue pups. I’m excited to spoil our wonderful teachers and make this year extra special for them!

VP of Volunteers
Sade Burroughs
My name is Sade Burroughs, and I’m excited to join the PTO. My family includes my husband, our two daughters—Aubrey (3rd grade) and Ava (1st grade)—and our dog, Drizzy, who’s convinced he’s one of the kids! I’m passionate about family and building a strong sense of community where everyone feels welcome and supported.
My degrees are in Business and Early Childhood Education. Currently, I work in the mortgage industry. My husband is a proud local business owner, and together, we love volunteering and staying active in our community.
I’ve never met a stranger and look forward to meeting more of you as we work together to support our students, teachers, and school. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families, and let’s make this a year to remember!

VP of Fundraising
Erika Depa
Hi, I’m Erika Depa, and I’m thrilled to be serving as VP of Fundraising PTO at Sharon Elementary. I love being involved in our school community, and I am passionate about supporting our school, teachers, and helping create enriching experiences for all of our children.
My husband and I have two energetic boys (Anthony in 5th grade and Nicholas in 1st grade) who keep us busy with soccer, swimming, and piano lessons. We also have a sweet (and slobbery) St. Bernard who’s very much part of the family.
Outside of school, I volunteer with CURE Childhood Cancer, an incredible organization supporting children and families impacted by pediatric cancer, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. When we are not running between activities, our family loves spending time outdoors, traveling, and enjoying new adventures together.
I’m excited for a fantastic year and can’t wait to connect with more of our amazing school families and local businesses.

VP of Events
Nicole Martin
I’m Nicole Martin, and I am excited to serve as this year’s VP of Events for the Sharon PTO. Originally from Arizona, my family and I moved to Georgia 3 years ago and instantly fell in love with the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. My husband and I are so grateful to be raising our children here.
Our daughter, Hudson, is currently in 1st grade at Sharon, and our son, Maddox, will be joining her next year as a Kindergartner. From the start, the Sharon community has made us feel right at home, and we are looking forward to an incredible year ahead.
As a family, we love to travel and spend time with friends. When we are not on the go, you’ll often find me on the tennis court, cheering Hudson on at her dance competitions, or encouraging Maddox on the soccer field. I am truly excited to help bring our school community together through fun, memorable events and shared experiences throughout the year!

VP of Communications
Rachel Puckett
Hi! My name is Rachel Puckett, and I am excited to be the VP of Communications for the Sharon PTO 2025-2026 school year! We've had kids at Sharon for three years, and this upcoming school year will be our 4th.
I went to Emory University for my undergraduate degree and received my MBA from Tulane University. I am a former small business owner and did floral designs for weddings and events. Prior to that, I was a Human Resources Consultant across various industries for over 10 years. Now I'm a stay-at-home mom and autism advocate. I make creative, fun, informative, and helpful resources for autism families, teachers, therapists, and IEP team members as a side gig now.
I'm married to my amazing husband John, who is a financial advisor, and we have two children, Sam (7 - rising 2nd grader) and Zoey (6 - rising Kindergartener in the REACH/autism classroom). We have a Great Pyrenees dog named Izzy and six (yes, six) cats named Brennan, Dale, Tina, Biscuit, Pepper, and Shiloh. We love going to the beach and hanging out with friends and family. I hope to bring a unique perspective as a special needs parent and can't wait to work with and serve the amazing teachers, students, staff, and families at Sharon!

Member at Large
Elana Law
Hello, my name is Elana Law, and I am delighted to serve on the Sharon Elementary PTO. I believe a strong parent/teacher relationship makes a school a community, and I am fortunate to be involved. This is my 7th year as a Sharon parent, and I have served as a Room Parent for the last two years.
My high school sweetheart and husband have lived in the county for over 15 years. We have two amazing children, Kellen, who is a Sharon alumnus and currently attends Riverwatch Middle, and Penelope, who is in 1st grade. I look forward to being part of the PTO and making this year great for our students and teachers.
We believe that every child has the potential to thrive, and with the support of our community, they can achieve great things and make a difference in the world.
